First Haircut

Aunt Marleah gave Lauren her first haircut, and we must say she looks like a little Movie Star. It will be in pig tails and pony tails before we know it. Here are some before and after pictures of our little girly girl.

Beach Babe

Lauren may have her daddy's fair skin, but she is definitely a beach baby! I guess that mean we will have to stock up on sunscreen. We went to the beach in Galvaston with Uncle Rob, Aunt Marleah and cousin Maia, and we can't wait to go back. The girls were really cute in their matching striped bathing suits, and they loved playing in the ocean and on the beach. Lauren acquired a taste for salt water and she would stick her tongue out when the waves would splash. She also loved playing in the sand and getting dirty, which made for some really cute pictures.

Eight is Great!

I am eight months old, and Mom and Dad can hardly believe it. I crawled for the first time on Mother's Day and life hasn't been the same ever since. I am really fast and quite sneaky too, so Mom and Dad can't take there eyes off me. I can also pull up and stand. Now that I can pull up in my crib, nap time is so much more fun. I'm not sure Mom agrees with me. I've got a few bump and bruises due to my adventures, but I always feel better after some comforting in my Mom or Dads arms.

Cousin Will's 1st birthday

Mom and Dad took me to Austin to celebrate my cousin Will's birthday. It was a weekend I will never forget. Aunt Holly planned a pool party, and Mimi bought me a new swimsuit for the big day. Will and I both got a little sunscreen in our eyes, but we handled ourselves with class and dignity. Will got to have a whole birthday cake all to himself and my Mom didn't give me any. What's up with that? I had the best time helping Will open his gifts. I hope Aunt Holly and Uncle Daniel didn't mind me being in all of Will's birthday pictures. I also got to catch up with my cousin Luke. He has a lot to look forward to in the next few months, so I imparted some of the wisdom I've gained in my 8 months of life.
