Midland Mania
Daddy had a golf tournament in Midland, so as an added bonus we got to spend a few days with our West Texas family. Lauren's Aunt Mar worked her magic on Lauren's hair and gave her the cutest haircut. She is now sporting the Suri Cruise cut, but much cuter. We got to see Granddaddy, Grammy, Uncle Rob, Aunt Mar, Maia, Auntie Chan, Landon, Ashton, and Poppy and Mer Mer. Whew, it was a busy busy trip, but so much fun.

No your eyes are not deceiving you. That is a real horse and yes, Lauren is riding it. Her cousin Noah had his 2nd birthday at a ranch with a petting zoo and horseback riding. So Lauren at 18 months got to ride her first horse. Mom was amazed and quite honestly scared to death. Cousin Will showed off his cowboy skills too. We think Lauren might need a pony and a pink saddle for her birthday.

Lauren traveled to Lubbock in April to visit her aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandma Mamu. She is definitely racking up the frequent flier miles. Lauren's Lubbock family had not seen her since she was around 6 months old, so they loved getting to see her as a toddler. Everyone got to experience first hand our sweet and adventurous little girl. I do not think Lauren's feet stopped moving the entire trip. Mom was on her own, so it was a good thing that there were lots of aunts and uncles to help keep an eye on Lauren. Jen, thanks for letting us stay with you. Miss you already!
